"What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up."
1 Corinthians 14:26 (Today's New International Version)
Well...here is a forum for us to share our thoughts and ponderings through the life of our cell. I don't think we'll have any particular schedule (unless you all want one, in which case I'd be happy to consent). I don't think we'll have any particular topic. I hope you use this space to increase our sharing and to "stay in touch" with each other outside of the time we set aside on Thursday evenings.
Maybe you have a question, a quote from a book, a insight, a prophesy...this might be a place you want to share it.
The field is yours. Do with it what you may...
Why Dialogue and Not Doctrine?

Hey everyone! I hope you are all well. Things here are rough. Mike's tire popped this morning, so he had to take my car to work. Now I'm stranded with my sweet ones, with a list of errands that I can't do. I'm just venting--I'm not asking anything from anyone. I'm just so frustrated because my husband doesn't have the typical schedule where he's home by 5 or 6 PM. If that was the case, we could deal with all this after work. His mom is coming tomorrow morning to watch the kids while I deal with this, but that was supposed to be my grocery shopping time. He's working every day this week except Thursday. I'm so discouraged and I know he is, too. That's why I've decided to work in the fall. It's too much of a financial and emotional strain for us to keep me home anymore. That's really sad for me, but I feel like we can't continue this path for the sake of the health and happiness of our family. Pray for us please...
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, Jenny. Is this something you'd like to workout in a cell meeting?
ReplyDeleteWe care for you...
Just venting to people who care was good for me to do. Prayer is always helpful, too. Thanks, Bryce!
